Description: In Batman Arkham City you never physically meet Scarecrow but there are a couple of nods to his appearance in Arkham Knight. Ranging from the infamous ship to his actual mask. All of this left gamers baffled until the Batman Arkham Knight trailer came to us from Rocksteady where everything made sense.

Mystery Ship: The biggest is in a ship in the upper right hand corner of the map where you can enter by using the cryptographic sequencer. Using the code of “City of Terror” or “’City of Freaks” you are able to enter the ship and find boxes of insects. In the ship you can also find an invoice saying that Jonathan Crane (Scarecrow’s real name) purchased 20 crates of insects for “medical research”.  

 

Riddler Challenge: There is a riddler challenge with the clue of “If you’re afraid don’t be scared to crow about it”. To solve this riddle you have to scan a scarecrow suit next to the ships of roaches in it.

 

Three Radio Waves: While playing Batman Arkham City you can stop at points and find three hidden radio waves with the Cryptographic Sequencer. Each time a strange voice gives numbers and to decrypt them you have to use different methods.

Once you finish until the W of Scarecrow, there are still the letters WCRXSVYOIUKTPIQJVMWFS left in the ciphered text. SO you would have to go back to the S of Scarecrow and look for the W.

 

If you completed the ciphered text correctly then you should be left with the statment of 

"Fear Will Tear Gotham City To Shreds"

 

Final Statment: The three messages, the riddler challenge, and the ship all point to Scarecrow being the next game. Not only did that happen but he was one of the main villains.
